Welcome to the Global Myth Challenge 'Teacher Page'

Welcome to the Global Myth Challenge, an opportunity for students collaborate in order to present and compare myths from a range of cultures around the world.

Project running from October - December 2010

Ideas so far...

  • Students research features of myths and legends in their own and others' cultures.
  • Present a myth from their region via this wikispace and class blog using a web 2.0 tool such as VoiceThread, Slideshare etc...
  • Provide others with feedback and commonalities via blog sites or this wikispace.
  • Discuss with one another the purpose of myths.
  • Experiment with using Edmodo to collaborate with one another.
  • Use Skype to conference with each other?
  • Write and present own myths to explain a natural or modern phenomenon.
  • Create a Google map with our location and the location where our myths and legends began!

Any other ideas? Please feel free to add them to the list! I'm very keen to collaborate on this wiki and get it looking blinged! Add your details to the table below to get involved!
